Greenways Academy Now Available to California Students…
Our California program works in partnership with the University Prep Charter School. Tuition is funded by the State of California if you enroll with Greenways and University Prep. During the school year, students wishing to participate enroll in Greenways-University Prep as full-time students. During the summer, students can enroll to take a few classes. Summer classes start on
July 1 and must be completed before the start of the fall semester at their home school. Students wishing to enroll on a private-pay basis can enroll directly through Greenways Academy. If your student is interested, please contact Greenways Academy. Greenways Academy grew out of the realization that not all students could thrive and be successful in traditional schools. The school was founded to provide a place where a student with special needs or circumstances could get a high school diploma from a nationally accredited online high school. We are more than just that. We offer flexibility, student-driven pacing and a classroom of One. We work with all students including those with IEPs and 504s. While some of our students enroll due to medical conditions, learning disabilities, or unique scheduling needs, other students enroll to supplement their school’s curriculum with courses not available at their current school or courses they need but can’t fit into their schedule. Our WASC and AdvancedEd Accredited program is for students in grades 2-12. Students up to age 21 can enroll in our programs to obtain their high school diploma. We accept high school transcripts and will transfer credit in.
We offer UC A - G classes, core subjects, foreign languages, fine arts, health, career focused electives as well as general electives. With one-on-one teaching for every course, we get to know our students and utilize the strengths of their personalities and learning styles to ensure their success. The flexibility of our program sets us apart from traditional schools, which often try to make all students conform to a preset teaching style at a preset pace.
