Studio Art 1a: Introduction; 1b: Techniques for Aspiring Artists
Semester A: Encourage your creativity to grow by devoting yourself to a deeper understanding of the formation of art and its basic principles. Whichever medium you prefer – painting, drawing, photography – this course will teach you the design elements and fundamentals needed to create works of art, explore your artistic inspirations, and look at art in different cultures. Semester B: Building on the prior prerequisite course, prepare yourself for a career as an artist by further exploring the world of art. Develop your ability to critique, explore art themes throughout history, and learn how museums provide a greater cultural understanding. Learn the career paths of an artist and find your future!
